In 2017, Lovot was created using Emotional Robotics whose intention is to stir people's feelings through the way the robot looks, feels, and behaves. It was born from the concept that "a small amount of love will change the world." Its primary function is to provide people will comfort and companionship. Will this be enough to cure loneliness?

Studying the epidemic of isolation in Japan.
About one-third of the Japanese population considers themselves to be lonely. This video, which was created in 2012, predicted that by 2020, the popular living situation will be living alone. A restaurant owner in Japan was quoted as saying, "People aren't being anti-social. They are just compartmentalizing their lives." Now that it is 2020, this epidemic has become the "norm".
To better understand the city, we hitched a ride with a local and wandered through the night streets of Kabukicho, Japan.
